Catholic beats Greenwood
Posted by soccermom under: Boys News; Irish Soccer .
With GREAT fan support, both parents, family, friends and especially classmates!
In their first game ever, the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish beat the Greenwood Blue Jays 1-0. At the end of the first half, freshman Austin Lewis scored with an assist from freshman Adam Entrup. With great team work, as well as 10 keeper saves by Korbyn Behl, the Fighting Irish was able to fight off any attacks by the Blue Jays. Congratulations on their win!
