Lady Irish defeat Kickapoo 1-0

Anne Prenger scored on a free kick in the 9th minute and the Lady Irish defense made the goal stand up as they held off the Chiefs relentless second half attack. Catholic was aided by the return of Erin FitzGerald and Natalie Smid from injuries, but had to play the final 52 minutes of the match without senior standout Tara Bailes who left the game in the 28th minute with a knee injury. Hopefully, it is not serious and she will be able to return soon.
