Catholic defeats Bolivar 6-0

The Lady Irish prevailed this evening in a contest between the top two seeds in the upcoming Class 1 District 12 tournament to begin in nine days. Tara Bailes, playing her first full match without her knee brace, led Catholic with three goals and an assist. Anna DeLong scored twice and Shelby Hatz once, while Natalie Smid had two assists and Emily Kessler had one. Anne Prenger, Ronnie Renner, Andrea Parker, Kathleen Garrison, Jessica Bowman, Emily Ortega, and Carsen Baron played very well defensively as Rachel Scott recorded her eighth shutout of the year in goal.
