Lady Irish advance to District Championship

Catholic defeated Willard 8-0 this evening in the Class 1 District 12 semifinal and will play Bolivar, a 3-2 winner in 2 OT against West Plains, on Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm at Willard. Shelby Hatz scored twice for the Irish and Natalie Smid, Carsen Baron, Maddy Renner, Tara Bailes, Anna DeLong, and Natalie Van Pelt each had a goal. Bailes recorded two assists, while Smid, Hatz, Baron and Emily Kessler had one each. The Irish will be playing in their 6th straight district championship game.
