Catholic Defeats St. Paul Lutheran

Catholic showed up with renewed energy against St. Paul Lutheran after barely pulling win out the night before.  Catholic was able to using their passing game and teamwork to maintain sustantial ball control.  St Paul Lutheran was able make several drives toward the goal that was shut down by the defenders and goalkeeper.  In the 29th minute, Catholic was able to break down St. Paul’s defense when Adam Entrup was able to pass to Justin Bowenschulte in the middle of the field in front of the goal.  In a fairly uncontested shot, Justin Bowenschulte was able to fire the ball in the left side of the goal beyond a diving goalkeeper. 

In the second half, Catholic was able to continue to maintain good ball control and denying St. Paul’s offense and may attacks at the goal.  In the 72nd minute, Catholic’s forward Adam Entrup was able to get his second assist of the night when he dribble the ball down the far right side of the field when Austin Lewis was able to place a perfect header past the St. Paul’s GK. 

Catholic’s won the game with the final score of 2-0, improving Catholic’s record to 9-1.
