HIGHLIGHT VIDEO - Again, Catholic and Bolivar went head to head over a soccer field that was not only saturated but had standing water throughout the field.  Catholic challenged Bolivar with not only their passing game but by attacking their defense.  In the 14th minute, Justin Bowenschulte won the ball in a scramble and was able to score.  Similarly in the 17th minute, David Bailey stripped Bolivar and slipped the ball through the defense and past the Bolivar GK.

In the second half, Catholic’s offense moved to the end of the field that had standing water in many areas.  Catholic not only had to work the ball past the Bolivar players but deal with the standing water that would stop the ball.  In the 58th minute, Taylor Arens’ corner kick found Reid Harbach who was able to head the ball in for a goal.  Only 6 minutes later, Catholic sharply passed the ball in a beautiful play when Mitchell Moncada was able to score off a pass from Taylor Arens.

Despite the wet conditions that both teams were forced to play through, Catholic continued to play a solid game defensively allowing the offense to work the ball through the Bolivar players.

With a 4-0 win over Bolivar, Catholic remained undefeated in the Central Ozark Conference – Small Schools Divsions winning all 6 conference games.  Catholic’s offense was able to score a total of 40 goals against their COC competitors, while Catholic’s defense and GKs did not allow a single goal to be scored against them.
