Lady Irish defeat Rogersville 3-0

The Lady Irish defeated Rogersville 3-0 in the first game of the season played at Catholic. Both teams were short handed playing a number of girls in new positions resulting in a somewhat sloppy game. AnnMarie Banasik opened the scoring for the Irish when she finished a Mandy Bailes corner kick in the 33rd minute. One minute later Bekah Bade scored after taking a pass from Jordan Banasik. Rachel Herron finished the scoring in the 52nd minute assisted by Bade.
The Lady Irish JV played a strong game defeating Rogersville 4-0. Catholic goals were scored by Lauren Schoen, Sara Bolin, Diane Kielhofner, and Riley Bailey.
