SCHS Boys Attend Evansville Aces Team Camp

The SCHS Varsity Boys Soccer team recently attended the Evansville Aces Team Camp where they faced Harrison, Mater Dei and Memorial. They finished the camp with 2 wins and 1 tie. See full set of pictures to the right in our Flickr account.

SCHS High School camp is currently being held at Springfield Catholic.

2010 Springfield Catholic Fightin’ Irish Soccer Camps

Year after year, Springfield Catholic has provided successful soccer camps for all ages! Camp will be held during July 12-15, 2010 at the SCHS soccer fields for K-5th grade, 6-8th grade and High School Ages. Please submit the registration form, along with a check, by the July 1!

REGISTRATION FORM

Camp #1 – July 12 -15, 9:00-11:00 am   $65.00
Camp#2 – July 12-15, 5:00-7:00 pm   $65.00
Camp#3 – July 12-15, 6:30-8:30 pm   $80.00

Includes a free t-shirt for each camper

The SCHS camp tonight, Monday, July 12, is cancelled. Camps tomorrow camp will be held at Lake Country Cooper #3 field for all camps. You may check the hotline at 841-4013 for any updates.

Ten Lady Irish Players Named All-Region

The Missouri State High School Soccer Coaches Association Southwest/Central All-Region team has been announced and a record 10 Lady Irish players were selected. Players were selected from the eligible schools comprising the Class 1 Districts 5 and 6 teams. Goalkeepers Rachel Scott and Megan Goetzinger were named as co-keepers of the year, Carsen Baron and Rebecca Mayus were named co-defensive players of the year, and Shelby Hatz and Natalie Smid were named co-offensive players of the year. Tillie Bill of Southern Boone was named player of the year. Erin FitzGerald, Ronnie Renner, Bekah Bade, and Andrea Parker were also selected to the team.
