Congratulations on a great season! It's got to be some kind of record to have 12 players receive all district honors. Be proud in the fact that you took the number 1 ranked team to the limit and that you played your best at the end! Seniors - great leadership!

Growing up in St. Louis and watching the Catholic High Schools compete in was evident that they built there programs upon much more than just a bunch of talented players. Pride, Teamwork, Leadership, and Character were evident in all the great Catholic School programs. I just wanted to say that we are fortunate to have Coach Kofron helping to build that same tradition and heritage here in Springfield.

In St. Louis I played soccer until my Sophmore year were transitioned into football (which I still prefer today). However, I am grateful for the opportunity to watch my son continue to play the sport that he loves so much. As his father, I plan on supporting him in which ever activity he may pursue and as Catholic parents I knonw I am not alone when I say "Thank You" to all that made this possible.

My memory for the first year of catholic soccer will be, " What a Wonderful group of Boys." The upper classmen and their parents should be very proud of the way they mentored the freshmen boys! I had several other freshmen parents tell me how the older boys were very supportative of their kids. You boys have set the standard for the Catholic Soccer team!!!! You have helped the freshmen flow into high school life easier. THANK YOU!!! Also Thanks to Sam Taggert for watching Taylors back when he was the only one to wear the Football fairy outfit on Halloween!!!!! Looking forward to next season! We will miss you senior boys! Catholic soccer mom Carol Arens

Congratulations on a great season. Focus on the entire season rather than one game. You are all winners, and according to the Cassville players, one of the best teams they played all season. I think I am most impressed with how you played the game, aggressively but without trash talking or cheap shots. I also appreciate the fact that your fans were a classy bunch - positive and enthusiastic but refraining from any negative comments about opposing players - this was something we did not experience often this season. One final thought - give all you have in the off-season and I have no doubt you'll come out on top next fall.

Its a shame Catholic didnt add soccer sooner. The result would have been many, many more seasons like this year. You guys have nothing to be ashamed of. Like Mr Taggart said, you guys made several accomplishments that a team would like to make over a course of a few years, let alone one. Non-seniors, you now have something else to work for this off-season. Keep your heads up and put yourselves in a position to be there again next year.

As one of the senior's father, I would like to commend the entire team for playing hard in this district final loss. It's sometimes very hard to find comfort in a loss; however, I would ask that the players and fans reflect on this just ended season. In your inaugural season you accomplished the following: undefeated at home, beat a top 10 ranked class 2 team (Cassville), lost 0-1 to the 4th ranked class 1 team (Pembroke Hill), season record 17-8-1, and won the first game of the season against Greenwood. A lot of you did not really know each other before this season started. I knew that you were a special bunch of young men when you gathered around my son Sam when he sprained his ankle during the MSU team camp. Your respect and support of each other is a kindness that that should make your parents proud! Remember the progress that you made during the season, both as a team and individually. Sometimes we get too focused on the end, the prize to truly appreciate the journey. It has truly been a joy to watch you all practice, play, and interact with each other. I wish you and your family the best! Continue the tradition!
